I wonder if “Beach Time” is like ‘Island Time?” Pinkie wondered as she flew gracefully over the front entrance gate at the popular beach community of Cypress Breeze Plantation. She certainly hoped so! Island Time was a special state of mind that came over people on vacation who were truly immersed in relaxation and prone to forgetting anything related to time management. Since we are technically not on an island in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida…Beach Time is what it is!

Pinkie’s destination was the first house on the left…an inviting 2-story house surrounded by trees and with numerus porches that promised those special vacation vignettes where friends and family could gather and enjoy the moment. “So far so good!” Pinkie ascended the stairs leading up to the front door. Once inside she was immediately captivated by the soothing, earthy wood tones mixed with crisp whites and well-deserving beiges…a very relaxing palette of coastal color with pops of blues and greys. Natural light streamed in from expansive windows and the mood was airy and fresh. “I feel like I am in a designer tree house,” thought Pinkie as she made her way over to the side porch off of the dining area. Outdoor seating and lounging overlooking the side yard created a very cozy space. Part of this vacation home’s charm stems from the very private feeling that it delivers …all while being just minutes from the action of 30A.

Brand new 6-seater golf cart included with your vacation! Golf carts are street legal here and getting around is fun and easy. Head to the beach at the Ed Walline Public Beach Access  just ½ mile away and catch some of the Emerald Coast’s best beaches. Beach access offers with parking, rest rooms and lifeguards on duty in peak season. Zipping down to the shops and restaurants at Gulf Place for a slice of local beach life will be an event in and of itself. Gulf Place includes shopping, dining & fun! Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar pairs libations and great eats with lofty Gulf views overlooking the street scene below. For Americana, a great place for lunch, or an evening of live music, check out La Playa, situated on the corner of 30A at Gulf Place.  In the Gulf Place town center, you'll also find The Perfect Pig, serving outstanding breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as craft cocktails. For the kids, you can't beat Pizza by the Sea, or cross over 393 and check out Pecan Jacks for amazing and unique ice cream choices!  In the morning, wander down to Sunrise Coffee! The Gulf Place Amphitheater often offers live concerts, and who can resist a farmers market...on-site seasonally every week.

Outdoor opportunities abound for biking, hiking and just getting back to nature. Tucked off Hwy 393 just a few blocks from the Gulf, the private, gated community of Cypress Breeze Plantation is famous for its stunning, resort-style waterfall pool sure to impress and entertain everyone in your group. Fountains, grottoes and a spacious sundeck make this much more than a swimming pool…it’s a water wonderland! Open from 8am to 10pm daily all season long….not heated. Cypress Breeze Plantation is also known for its sprawling groves of Florida cypress trees, providing habitats for many species of Florida wildlife.
